From the actual design of the devices, to the themes, applications and other things inside them, you should find great concepts for fonts, colors, images etc. So fire up that new iPhone and see what might be applicable for your color posters.
4. Computer operating system themes â Another good source of modern design inspiration are computer operating system themes. From Windows Vista, Windows 7 and of course the newest version of MAC OS X, there are plenty of great layout and design ideas that you can get from these sources. They represent the newest trends on user interfaces that most of your poster readers will find attractive when they see in your designs. So look through the different themes of your latest computer operating systems, there should be plenty of great ideas out there.
5. Video game graphics â Lastly, video games are increasingly getting more beautiful. Their menus, their in game graphics as well as their concept art are all print worthy in most respects. So if you have a few of the newest games lying around (or maybe some of your kids have) why donât you play with them and see how the art design of the game works. Trust me, there are lots of new color schemes and layout ideas in games if you look and just focus on its art. Those game companies hire art directors you know, so these are quite professional inspirational sources you are looking at.
