My Ps3 Freezes during the Call of Duty 4 Update ???

My Playstation 3 (80 GB) Continously Freezes every time I try to Do the Call of Duty 4 1.30 Update. It usually freezes between 0% - 54%. The Message that opens is "An error occured during the download operation (80710723)". I really need help since I cant go Online unless the Update is installed. The Download is also unable to be performed in the background.

Please Help

Go to your PS3 XMB Window (the main screen that you see when you pwer up the system). Then go to settings>network settings>connect to media servers. If "connect to media servers is "enabled" change it to "disabled". Exit the XMB window.
Then retry installing the update.
