The online gaming industry turned over some $30 billion dollars in 2008 and the video game industry is now approaching a $50 billion dollar a year enterprise. And that figure is expected to grow substantially in 2009 and 2010.You should also know that people right now are earning a full-time income as games testers. So how do you go about joining the club? Do you need college degrees? Well no but it won’t do any harm but, really all you need to get started is a computer and internet access. What you'll be doing is playing brand new unreleased games and reporting any bugs that you've found. That's basically it! No experience needed on your part.

Why would companies in the gaming industry pay you to play their game? Sure they have their own in-house-team but, it’s much cheaper to have somebody test their game(s) who can be objective and not only report bugs, but can suggest improvements to enhance gamers experiences. There are gaming companies out there that produce games that suits your genre. You just have know who they are!!! You can test games on the almost all platforms like; XBOX 360, PS3, PSP, Nintendo DS, and Gameboy. But choosing some of these options could restrict your chances of earning some of the bigger pay checks.

The greatest thing about the gaming industry is it’s all online. You have already got everything you need, just internet access and a passion for gaming, and this can all be done in whatever hours you choose to work.
