last decade, the company has found themselves permitting third-parties to
publish mature games on Nintendo consoles - Perfect Dark, Resident Evil,
MadWorld, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and killer7 to name a few -
Nintendo has even gone as far as publishing some mature games themselves. In
fact, to prove that the GameCube wasn't all about the little kids, the Big N
had made the decision to publish Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for
Silicon Knights early on in the console's lifetime. It was the first mature
